Between the Lines
For those of you who aren’t familiar with my artwork, I do Illumination where your brush size is measured in degrees of 0 (and a single zero is usually too big) . Imagine my surprise when I learned that the very fine white lines weren’t painted in– but rather left unpainted.
That is both easier and harder than simply painting in the white space. It is easier because you don’t have to paint something a mm to two mm wide with precision – you just have to leave that much room… perfectly even.
