Pride
They say that pride goeth before the fall, but there are so many faces to pride and not all of them are inherently bad.
We take pride in our work. We take pride in our family. Pride is bad when it is false or self-involved but I take pride in a good day’s work, when a story moves you or makes you think.
Somedays. I’m lucky I got words on the page, and on those days– I’m thankful I got that.
Today’s Prompt: Write about the oposite of pride – but don’t chose humility.
